Vera had been entirely planning on offering up her brother as a suggestion for what was heavy that the average person (in this case, her) could not lift. But she'd been entirely derailed by the thought as Feirgrund had answered Bryony's question. It had spurred a whole rabbit trail of trying to think just how light she'd need Vasco in order to actually move him, for good old sibling prank purposes of course, and what other charms could be used to that end. And then of course WHAT pranks she wanted to pull that this would even be a necessary component. Needless to say, she was distracted and entirely forgot to actually offer a verbal answer.
Oops.
Pulling herself back to present as the charm of the day was introduced (and reintroduced in the form of the levitating charm), she grasped for her wand as they were released to practicing for the day. "Pluuuumavis. Plumaaavis. Plumavis." She practiced the incantation, drawing out the syllables in different spots just so she could hear the wrong way first. "Plumavis, plumavis." A couple more times correctly and she decided that was enough. Thankfully, this was not too difficult of a pronunciation. Though the idea of a.... tilde, had he called it? Sounded far more ominous.
At least until she looked up at the board and realized she'd missed the Professor also compare the motion to that of a wave. Keeping silent this time around (and careful not to think the word because she was pretty sure there might have been something about her wand being good at nonverbals), Vera just practiced the motion over and over and over again. One last time too for good measure, before her attention then turned back to the box. How heavy was the contents?? Could they try lifting it first before feather weighting it?
