not throwing away my shot | Slytherpuff | roll for initiative | woof you ❤ Oliver's eyes were flitting back and forth between the color options. He glanced over at his husband and smiled when he seemed at a loss for an answer. That was okay, the question was mostly rhetorical anyway. He knew he would probably make the final decision but he'd wanted to pose the question anyway in case Dragomir did have a preference. He also knew practically that whichever gray they went with would be just fine. He glanced toward the twins when Dragomir asked for their opinion. "You're getting more paint on your hand than on the set, Alexei," he commented. Though he was one to talk. He did really enjoy body painting. And when he was that age he also would have been much more eager to paint what he wanted, and not necessarily what he was told.
The paint his son pointed was the one he had been thinking too, so he nodded and selected that one. He also picked a darker gray before turning back to Dragomir. "So this will be the stone color, and this one is for the outlines of the stones and accents. Do you want to start on outlining and I can add some texture?" He thought outlining might be a little bit more approachable. And it could be as messy or uneven as he wanted because that was realistic. ___ Elena did not care about grays, sorry dad, sorry tatko. She just nodded along when Alexei pointed at one. Whichever one he thought was better she agreed. Definitely. It had less to do with the color and more to do with the fact that she would blindly support her twin in anything. If you asked her, the wall would look much better if it was pink. But nobody had asked her. "Oooh, yes," she said immediately when Alexei asked if he could paint on her hand. She held out both hands toward him, palm down. "Are you going to paint my bones too? Can you make them pink?" Or purple, she wasn't picky. And now if someone wanted to make her paint she would have an excuse as to why she couldn't. If her hands had paint on them she simply couldn't do something that would mess it up. |
