Alissa was in a cheerful mood as she entered the Charms classroom that nice October day. She gave Professor Feirgrund a friendly smile. "Hello Professor!" She greeted, and then she turned and went to find her seat. She took one in the second row and her attention was immediately captured by the box by her seat. There was a similar looking box by every desk. She wondered if they each had the same thing in them. Liss glanced up at the board, wondering if it had any further instructions, but there were none. She glanced around at her classmates, and saw that none of them were opening their box. But they hadn't been told not to, so it wasn't like she could get in trouble for opening it, right? She decided that a little peek wouldn't hurt. So she tucked two fingers under the corner of the box and... it was stuck. She pulled a little harder, but it didn't budge. Considering the box didn't look like it should be stuck like that, she assumed it must be magically shut. So she just left it where it was and supposed she would find out what was in it soon enough. |
