Bubbly, bright and easily excitable, Aurora takes life one bold step at a time. With a flair for the theatrical and the likelihood to break out into song (even if she isn’t the best singer in the world), this girl loves to be around others. But with this outgoing personality comes its weaknesses. Aurora can be particularly sensitive to criticism and will typical avoid or ignore any conflict. Aurora is the youngest daughter of former Hogwarts students Layla and Bambi (nee Fleming) Ackerly. Personality wise, she resembles her Mum Bambi much more however loves them both equally. She had a very happy childhood in the family home mostly thanks to her kind and caring Mum Bambi and her very chilled (although to the onlooker she always looks grumpy) Ma Layla. There is a 5 year age gap between her and her older sister Ariadne however the girls are very close and Aurora looks up to her big sister massively. Her Mum Bambi was a former model and Ministry Worker, her Ma Layla used to work in the Games and Sports Division in the Ministry but now works independently as a personal fitness trainer. On the fourth of September 2112, 2 weeks late, her baby brother was born, much to the chagrin of Aurora who hates missing out.

Aurora attended a muggle Primary School before going to Hogwarts. Her magical skills didn’t start showing until she was 10 years old leaving her a little concerned that she might not be magical at all. Although given the choice of going to Beauxbatons where her sister was already attending, Aurora wanted to be exactly like her mums and chose Hogwarts instead. Her childhood was altogether pretty normal and uneventful which was a relief to her parents. The family often spent time holidaying in Greece when they could.

~ Spent train journey with her sister in awe of the castle
~ Second to be sorted as name was so high alphabetically and assigned Ravenclaw due to her begging to be in the same house as her mothers.
~ Helped Professor Hernandez with de-gnoming and became a target of a ‘vicious’ attack from the smallest gnome resulting in her new found fear of Garden Gnomes.
~ Taught Brandon to braid hair, bonded with Vera at the tyre swing and rode horses with Everleigh.
~ Spent the summer in Greece with her mothers and sister whilst celebrating her twelfth birthday.

~ Gifted a pink Pygmy Puff called Merryweather to co-parent by her best friend Anna Walles.

SPOILER!!: Third Year

~Started off term excited to be back at Hogwarts for third year.
~Spent the majority of the term entrapped in the fourth floor mirror after touching its enchanted surface although it seemed like only a day had passed for herself.
~Her mirror!self, an opposite version of herself ran around Hogwarts causing havoc.
~At the end of term she was released from the mirror and her memories amalgamated.
~Summer was spent at home due to her Ma’s pregnancy although much time was spent with Ariadne learning the ways of becoming a teenage girl.
