Prompt #24: Decorate

“This tree is HUGE, Ary! How did you find it?!”
Ary shrugged, grinning at the happiness on Drake’s face. “Just a little searching. I knew you wanted a really tall one so here you are. I think it’s about three times your height? Much like the Nutcracker we saw five years ago.”
“I’m not that short anymore as you thought I was!”
That made Ary laugh. “I agree. Anyway, shall we start decorating?”
“Thank Merlin for magic to help us reach the top!’’
“And everywhere else!”
The young men got to work, often pausing to consult about what piece of decor would look better where. Colourful decor of various designs and tinsel soon filled the tree; not to mention there was and epic tree topper that was a golden star.
“Just one more thing. Or two.” Ary magicked two transparent orbs to come to a rest just below the star. Inside was filled with green confetti; the name ‘MANDRAKE’ was printed in cursive in red on the front of one, ‘ARYAN’ written the same way on the other.
“It’s perfect!” Drake exclaimed, admiring the finished tree. “Thank you!”
“You’re welcome,” Ary replied warmly.
