Anashti l Brat Pack l Sally & Dr. Finklestein As she picked up each of the items from the floor, keeping a careful eye for anything out of the ordinary as she did so, Sookie listened to her son listing off the things he liked in books. Keeping a mental note of each thing the boy added, so that she could write them all down later in her office on the list she had begun some time back for keeping track of his interests so that she knew what she could add around the house to make it feel more comfortable to him - more like a home. Books with dragons and princesses and princes brought back her own memories from childhood, and she smiled as she pictured the box of books she had in her attic on just the subjects she thought he'd enjoy. Another mental note made to pull that down later.
She knew that she should quickly get things cleaned up and then head to her own office, or perhaps pop in to see Hugo to see if he felt the need for the incident to be inspected, but if Ji-Ho was asking her to sit and do a puzzle with him. How could she possibly say no? "I can make time to do one with you before I need to get down to my office. Do you want to pick the one that looks the most fine to you and we can try it together?" She asked gently, a soft smile as she placed the last books in her hand onto the shelf.
Hearing the entrance of another person, one of the daycare workers as she recognized, Sook stood for a moment - brushing off her skirt as she stepped closer to Ji-Ho. The cornish pixie remark nearly made her flinch as she realized that with the debacle of the delivery from the russian reserve... that wasn't entirely far fetched. But as far as Sookie was aware, they hadn't let any escape the holding room. "In regards to pixies, that I can certainly check for." She replied to the comment she'd said to the room, before glancing around at the mess again. "I'm sorry, we picked up the books for you but I'm realizing now it might have been better to leave them in case you wanted to conduct inventory to make sure nothing is missing." She'd perhaps been a little too quick to act knowing how anxious mess seemed to make Ji-Ho.
