As much as she truly loved being at home on the reserve, it was hard for Alouette to have not felt so utterly bored there without the companionship of other students her age. Don't get her wrong, the company of her siblings was invaluable to the eldest Wild child, but it had been so nice to get to know others and start forming friendships and flirtationships that an entire summer without any of that as well had sounded torturous.
Which was why she was taking full advantage of that recently acquired apparation license in order to do so. Most days were spent in the Alley, with either leisure shopping, school shopping or just... existing.
Today was an existing day. Knowing she didn't have any firm plans, she'd donned a sky blue dress with bright yellow sunflowers patterned all over and threw a thin white cardigan over that. Not because the day was chilly, as it was the middle of summer, but rather just to protect her skin from any of the suns rays through overcast clouds. It had taken her a moment to figure out what she actually wanted to do with her time, but eventually she settled on a cold butterbeer to take somewhere to people watch and sip. With any luck, she'd spot a semi familiar face or make a new acquaintance.
Or she'd just get to witness some drama, which would be an acceptable past time as well.
