Arm in arm with her younger sister, Alouette dragged Pip into the book store with her, taking a deeeeep breath of that fresh book smell as she did so, before excitedly squeezing her sister's arm. "isn't this the most wonderful time of the year?" The rising seventh year tried to not show such open euphoria (being TOO happy was childish, okay), but in the company of only her sister it was safe. Plus... How could she help it?
Today was the day she waited for all term. Doing odd tasks here and there to save money, only to be able to blow it all here today. She could have been working on her book list for the school year, but that would have just ruined her fun. Today was for leisure books only, which was why she bypassed all the textbooks in order to drag Pippa towards the fiction.
She eventually released her sister's arm, only to pick up a book from the shelf and flip through the pages. "You planning on getting anything today?"
