Throughout these 25 drabbles, I hope to explore as many of my characters as I can - though, I'll likely write as inspiration strikes and can't necessarily promise an even distribution. Decorating
Zoryn Chosen ; 2111


She loved this time of year and, by extension, she had come to love Christmas. Not for the presents, though she loved those plenty. Not for the food, of which they always had excess. And not for the snow, despite the hours she and her wife spent playing in it.

Zoryn loved this time of year because she and Faith always spent it together despite their busy, and often conflicting, schedules. Her usual aversion to all things sentimental seemed to melt away with the dawn of Christmas day. Nearly 14 years ago her wife proposed and changed the course of Zoryn's life forever. A sweet flurry of memories and impenetrable love. This is what washed over head and inspired her smile as she hung the final decorations in their shared flat.

For her wife, Zoryn could learn to love everything. Even so mundane a task as decorating.
