~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. Gilly might not have been that interested in the House Cup but Ary was one hundred percent sure that she had contributed to the win more than once. He hadn’t immediately noticed her arrival since he was still focused on the Staff table but at the sound of her greeting, he turned to her. He knew he didn’t need to worry about his peace being disturbed immediately because Gilly too appreciated the quiet. “Hi, Gillyweed,’’ he replied somewhat cheekily since he used her full name as she had done to him. Ary fell silent, surveying the book on the table. Was Gilly going to read now as they waited for the speech? Maybe he’d sneak a read at a few paragraphs while she read.
It wasn’t too long after that the speech happened though. Ary happily joined in the applause; hey, the House had worked hard and they deserved all the applause! Naturally, the firstie also clapped for the graduating bunch. Too bad he wasn’t among the set since it would mean not having to be away from the creatures of home. Anyway.
It was time to eat, and believe it or not, Ary had a healthy appetite this evening. |
