Completed Drabbles: 25/25 Prompt #18: Tinsel

Aryan was… confused.
The minute before, he had been careful wrapping bright purple tinsel around the bottom of the newly acquired Christmas tree and the next? HE was wrapped in tinsel of every colour! The eleven year old sat down rather suddenly on the floor among the boxes and boxes of ornaments and other decorations that littered the floor of the huge living room. Yes, Christmas was a HUGE thing in the Atreyu-Rehman household.
But back to this mass of confusion.
Ary’s hands were pinned to his sides - not tightly - so he attempted to wiggle them free.
“Come on,’’ he huffed. Once he was free, he would get his revenge on Dynah. Yes, this was somehow her doing. At least this was his thought until he heard a round of familiar humorous laughter.
“Dad!’’
The fact that the prankster turned out to be Dad Adi made so much sense. Dynah could not have magically bounded him as she was still under age.
“Ha ha. Very funny.” Ary rolled his eyes but he was grinning.
“Okay, fine. You win. Free me, please.”
And maybe help him to decorate the higher parts of the tree?
