There was a part of Evan that had fretted about extending the invitation to Jude as well for an evening of meeting Hartley's boyfriend. But he was not very good at being a third wheel, and since the purpose was to meet and get to know Dafydd, who he had not previously spent a lot of time around at Hogwarts, hiding in his own room was not a very good option. And considering how well Jude and Davet were doing, and Jude's recent subtle assurances that the past was merely the past in regards to aspects of their own friendship, he was relieved to have the company for the evening. Especially considering the previous dorm mates were also already such good friends.
Still, the nervous energy was existent - social situations still not being his forte. So in an effort to combat that, Evan had offered to cook food options for everyone. Which was coming considering it meant the afternoon was spent poring over Halmeoni's recipes until he gave up and called her so she could walk him through everything.
An afternoon of the woman chattering in his ear had certainly done the trick to relax him. By the time it was the agreed upon time, food was done, the flat smelt nice and Evan was calm. Saying goodbye to his family's matriarch, he hung up and removed the bright frilly apron his sister had gifted him along with his earbuds, before looking around to see if everyone had else arrived whilst he'd been preoccupied.
