But that was life, and here they were, doing something they both hadn't anticipated. Maybe he might've had an inkling if he had done his interpretations in Divination properly for once.
Another laugh came as the direction of the movie went wherever it wanted. There really was no way of telling what was going on at this point or where it would even be going. But there was the possibility that was the point. "It certainly has been quite random." Not that there were any issues with random things occurring. Though he figured he'd appreciate what was going on in the screen more had they been paying attention to it for the past ... however long it had been since they had gotten distracted with each other.
That particular thought only kept that grin on his face.
"Maybe we clean up while the last bit is playing?" he suggested with a shrug of his shoulders as Sarah jumped off the ledge of a staircase and wound up somewhere with the Goblin King. "That way we at least know how it ends in case someone were to ask. Then, with the clean up done, all we'll need to do is rewind and return the tape and then head out." After they could, perhaps, find a less conspicuous place to continue what had been started not that long ago.
She might have teased him later too with 'finally' or something of the like, though he also could have thrown the same back at her so perhaps she wouldn't. But for the time being, she was also feeling far too giddy to care about any of that. It was like the billywigs had also escaped and stung her, in addition to the fluttery storm she'd been feeling before.
"I suppose that's what we should have expected from a movie about puppets." Not that puppet films couldn't be good, she was assuming, but puppets in general were random weren't they? She hadn't been super impressed in the long run even prior to distraction, but she had to admit the shared commentary and being able to point out it's silliness together had been fun. Not that that was any sort of a shock to her.
At his suggestion, she was already moving to stand, pulling the blanket with her carefully - so as not to upset any of their snacks from their resting positions - and began to fold it to put into her bag.
"It's smart ideas like that that I keep you around for, Paton." She teased, smiling at him as she shoved the now folded blanket into her bag. Another glance at the tv, just to see the current progression, before she started collection their snack trays and drinks so she could deposit them into the trash bins.
"Do you want anymore of any of this before I toss it?" She asked, holding out the snacks towards him as a final offering.
