There was a moment of panic as he was now worried that she might react negatively to the ultimate action he had settled on. However, there were no questions when he felt that slight smile against his lips and the kiss returned. Those billywigs in his stomach were still present, but they were fluttering about in there with gusto instead of nervousness. Anything going on with the movie had been tuned out completely.
Logan couldn't have agreed with her words more. Looking at the brunette with the biggest of grins on his face, he, now able to speak in complete thoughts, replied, "I'm glad too. And we don't need to go into detail about how long I've been thinking about it." And before the opportunity to go into detail about that could come up, he leaned in to connect their lips once more.
Eventually he did pull away, mostly to catch some air while also taking into consideration that Feirgrund probably wouldn't approve of the makeshift theatre being turned into a snogging room. "So, uhh, any guesses on how all of this happened?" he asked with a laugh as he finally looked at the screen, the Goblin King now singing to Sarah as she ran up and down a bizarre structure of staircases. He supposed they could get up and rewind the tape a bit, but that seemed counterproductive at this point. So, unless they were to watch the movie again, they would probably never know.
While Vera had suggested them doing this assignment together in the hopes it would have felt date like, she hadn't actually anticipated anything like the current moment to occur. Not that there was even a whisper of protest at the way things had unfolded.
She always thought Logan had an infuriatingly nice smile, but the current warmth of it and directed at her was something entirely different. She was sure her cheeks were turning a bit red, but if anything it was just out of happiness - maybe with still a mix of nerves. Because who wasn't a little nervous finally kissing a boy that they'd been thinking about for a minute. At his comment, her grin turned a bit more smirk like and she of course immediately wanted to ask how long. For Ve, she could pinpoint the moment she'd started too. And it had certainly been an embarrassingly long amount of time. But before she could inquire, he'd found a way to silence what she assumed he knew would have been her follow up.
And in a way that didn't even make her a hint at annoyed with him.
She knew he was being sensible when he pulled away, figuring that yes, that would certainly affect their grade and earn the disapproval of the Muggle Studies Professor. Turning her head to look back at the screen again, she leaned properly into her seat again and laughed at his question.
"Not the foggiest. Though, I don't know I could have told you much about how this movie was progressing anyways before." Things just kind of... happened, randomly. The current staircase scene and the way the angles kept flipping around and the perspective changing was making her a bit nauseous. So figuring they'd probably completed the important aspects of the assignment, she glanced over at him.
"It's about over. Do you want to call it now and we can rewind the tape and clean up?" They knew how to do the machine workings and that
was the most important part of the assignment, right? [
