Aria had said it. And you know what? It felt like a giant amount of weight had lifted from her. I’m sorry too.” Aria met Dar’s pinky with hers. “Of course,’’ she continued, a hint of humour returning to her voice. “I’ll fully believe it when I see your actions match your words.” She trusted him though. “I promise. And I also promise to let you know when you get too busy for me. But you need to tell me what’s up with you and Caes. I bet I can help!”
The confusion and all other emotions that circled Darius all but melted as words were said, validated, and accepted. His rare smile appeared, typically for those who brought it out of him. The pinky promise they made once Aria's pinky crossed with Darius' he pulled her into one of his hugs. Snakes didn't really hug typically, falling more in line with constricting, but a brotherly twist to it before he pulled keeping their usual close distance. "And I expects yours to match as well," Smirking, "Looks like you'll be stuck with us," Not that he found it a problem. Though he did have to work on keeping the connection from how things went earlier. For Caes, "Well... being on different teams our schedules don't always align well. And having to keep our relationship a secret from the Press. And you already know our home situation," With the babies and all. "Our time alone isn't as often as it used to be," It also didn't help that this was his first serious relationship, there wasn't a charm book in sight that covered this.
