When tasked with gathering ingredients for Potions, Gilly knew where to go. Truthfully, doing such a task was something she didn't mind. She had found several reliable places over the past handful of months to look for common items for potions whenever they were not allowed to simply use what was kept in the storeroom.
The Cure for Boils seemed like a simple enough potion to brew, based on the recipe alone. With Professor Adara providing them with the snake fangs, porcupine quills, and shrake spines, she assumed getting their hands on the rest of the ingredients wouldn't be too difficult. She had charged Drake with the task of going to the greenhouses to get plenty of nettles, pungous onions, and ginger root. All that was left was collecting horned slugs and flobberworm mucus.
Having enlisted Bryony and Aryan, she led them through less travelled corridors. She figured the pit would be the easiest place to find the kind of slugs they'd need. "So we need to look specifically for horned slugs. We don't want the regular kind," she informed them as the pit came into view. "Then after we can head to the grounds to look for flobberworms so we can bottle up their mucus."
