My attempt there would be 8 points.” Not too shabby if you asked her. “And obviously anything that doesn’t land on the target is worth nothing at all except a clap on the back and A* for effort.” She didn’t want to discourage them after all.
“Great question!” She grinned at the young Slytherin. “Archery is a little more complicated in that really you should be choosing which eye is dominant. More often than not your dominant eye and hand match. For the sake of simplicity and because we are only doing this for fun, we are just using our dominant hand today. You should hold the bow in your non-dominant hand and draw back using your dominant hand.” So effectively the dominant hand was doing all the work whilst the other kept the bow steady.
