She blinked at the sight, glancing around to see if anyone else was around helping him as well. Considering the level of dirt and the man power of only one Professor… well, she could be a little late, right? Stuffing her clothes a little further into her bag, she dusted off one of the cushions on the couch and set her bag there before hopping over to Feirgrund. “What task would you like me to do, sir?” Well… and since maybe he’d know too. “Did we do something to upset the elves too? Are they quitting? They aren’t going to just like… leave the castle are they?” And if they did, what then?? The students wouldn’t all be expected to do chores on top of course work… would they?

The cleaning was definitely a whole project from the state of things. Feirgrund considered working it in separate days spread out, but at least getting the most used areas. It was unfortunate the elves were behaving so differently now. Admist his thoughts and the sound of the vaccuum, he didn't hear a student but he could sense a new presence walking up to him. After finishing up the desk, Ean turned off the vaccuum to see, "Ah, Miss Thanatos," That was kind of her to volunteer help, "Hmm, if you don't mind dust, the desk by the window there could use some dusting off," If she did have dust allergies, "Otherwise, you could clean off one of the portraits there," They didn't look pleased in the state.

Vera's questions did reach his ears, as he considered them each. Feirgrund moved onto the stairs to remove the dirt while continuing the conversation. He wouldn't lie but there was no reason to panic, "We're looking into what's going on with the elves," As far as he was concerned, "As far as we know, no student has influenced their decision to stop cleaning. So in the meantime, we'll have to continue taking care of our own messes," At least for the time being.
