But it was just that now it was unreadable, and what if someone else needed that bit of information? Of course most people had their own books, but some of hers were hand-me-downs, and she figured that eventually she'd hand hers down, too. Or donate them.
But anyway. Logans book wasn't her problem, and she dragged her gaze back to the boys face instead of his book. She offered a small smile at his laugh. "Maybe. If not, I'm sure I can nudge you again," she offered. Though, she thought as she pulled a chair out, if he did fall asleep again the chance was she'd just get up and try to find somewhere else to do her homework. And let him sleep. He was not nearly as concerned about the book as Betony may have been. This was largely because the textbook was his own, which honestly he hadn't used much until this school year and didn't plan on using again after OWL exams were done. It probably could have been passed on to someone, even with the missing information about the goblin riot, but that much hadn't crossed the boy's mind. As far as he was concerned, the rest of the book was still readable and he could always ask Vasco or Vera or Sable for the information.
A small smile appeared on his lips at the fourth year's offer. "That'd be appreciated. OWL year is rough," he replied as she settled in. "But I'll try not to dose off." Try was the key word there; it would be easier said than done, especially when History of Magic was the study material. Nevertheless, he would genuinely do his best not to fall asleep at the table again.
"What's on your study agenda today?" Odds were it was something he'd have to review at some point.
