Hope had no idea what counted as proper archery wear, so she just wore her own clothes (though, since most of those tended to be a bit old-fashioned, perhaps they might count as dressing up?) She did wear the knitted cap with the goat pattern and the tassle on the end that her sister had given her for a Christmas gift, so that was something.
Hope had never done archery before at all, though she'd seen other people do it. She thought that it might prove very useful, though, so was eager to learn something about it. When the professor asked for volunteers to demonstrate, though, Hope took a small step backward, hoping to blend in with the crowd. Let someone who actually knew what they were doing go first. |
