A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
The thought of confronting a boggart when he had no idea what his boggart would become was unsettling. Though it wasn't as unsettling as the professor's not-so-warm smile at that particular moment. Something was definitely wrong with them, and the young Ravenclaw wondered if he had been bewitched. Or had someone used a potion to spike his drink during breakfast? Whatever it was, they were acting weird!
As the scratching at the door became more intense, Sohrin was drawn from his thoughts and took a step back, then sideways to stand behind Aurora. Not that he was nervous or anything haha! he was. But something didn't seem to add up. Boggarts were non-beings who could be 'defeated' through laughter. Happiness was an emotion so why was the professor acting like that? Shouldn't he be attempting to cheer them on at this point?
He looked down at the dusty carpet, trying to remember what he was afraid of. But he couldn't come up with anything. He disliked certain things, such as reptiles, but he did not 'fear' them. But it was this thought that worried him. If he didn't know what shape a boggart would take for him, didn't the boggart have an advantage or not? "Professor Khanna?" he said as he raised his finger in the air. "I've never faced a boggart before so i have some questions... Does a boggart just 'know' what you're afraid of even if you don't know yourself? Does it read your mind?" He asked. "Oh also, Can you fool a boggart if you think about something you're not scared of but pretend to be scared of?"
