What was WITH his nose? Mercer sneezed his way down the corridor toward the Defense classroom, each progressive sneeze making his eyes water and his nose run. He was like a snot-fueled engine. There was no fever or congestion, just sneezing. Mid-winter allergies? Was that a thing? Or could it just be the accumulation of dust in every corner that was bring a literal tear to his eye?
Mercer paused and waved/wiped his face on his sleeve at the sight of the professor. "Hullo, Professor. Sorry about crying in the hall but I feel like I have a poltergeist in my sinus cavity."
