With most people, Darius felt that was a personal feeling. But with who he considered family, that was something he didn't want to happen with.
It was true: this pair did get along quite well, and they usually did so smoothly. There was a part of Aria that felt ashamed of bottling things up; talking things out would have been easier. She also had a defense in the form of Darius being busy and spilling her feelings was probably going to make things his life a little more difficult in his already hectic life.
Aria shot Darius an icy glare. Yes, this was serious. Unless he didn’t think so? “This isn’t about Caes!’’ she said sharply, determined to make this all about her. Of course she DID care about Darius’ and Caes’ relationship; after all, it had been her to push the two to begin dating. “No, you idiot! Well, more popcorn wouldn’t be bad but I just want things to be the way they used to be! I know that’s difficult with the babies around now but I don’t want to feel as though you haven’t got time for me anymore. Or that I’m being replaced with more important humans. Otherwise, I’ll leave our home and I’ll never go back!”
