The spiral staircases are beyond filthy so you must ensure your feet are properly covered or risk having blackened soles. The plush armchairs, sofas, and beanbags wore a woebegone look. There is no merrily cackling fire in the fireplace, which leaves the room in a deep chill. The occupants of the portraits are irritated due to their frames not being cleaned regularly.
