Prompt #9 - Halloween

SPOILER!!: Spooky Stuff

I left this one a little late and it became a bit rushed towards the end so not my best work. I’m quite happy how the pumpkin came out, ‘Whipped Stitch’ for the outlining and ’Satin Stitches’ to fill the rest in. I used slightly different shades of orange to help with the slightly 3D effect which I think worked out well. It took a LOT longer (try finishing at 1am) to do the pumpkin that the bat just became so rushed and my fingers were aching and it was easier to fill the outline with ’French Knots’ which is why it has become misshapen. Nevermind.

SPOILER!!: I appreciate you all ;_;

Thank you Ro! I’ll try keep it up provided my fingers don’t have a protest by the end of it

You are most welcome here even if you ARE stalking!! I think my teacup might be my favourite too.

Thank you Kat! It might not be very cohesive but I think it’ll look fun anyway.

And as I sit here with my cuppa....YOUR cuppa is stuuuuuuuuunning. Love seeing a return of the flowers and just wow! It's is so cute and that whipped stitch is really interesting to look at.
I think whipped stitching might come up a lot. It helps form a constant unbroken stitch so is super useful for outlining. Haven’t tried it with lettering yet though

Thank you Kath. Your supportive comments mean a lot to me

I absolutely adore the wee snake, as you know, but that tree is so GOOD! The detail and the way you've made the leaves look. It must have taken you HOURS.

I also love the snitch and the teacup. Heck, they're all bloomin' AMAZING! I don't know how you get your stitches so neat - and freehanding it too. You're very talented. I admire your dedication and focus to this - I wish you could lend me just a wee smidge of it.
Oh shush you! You KNOW you have as much talent in your pinkie has I do in my entire body. That being said, next time we see each other I shall teach you to embroider! Thank you, my love
