Unfortunately with it being off of the beaten path and not the usual spot for Hogwarts students to gather on their weekends away from the castle, the pair were entirely alone and it would be difficult for them to ignore each other's existence. Besides, ‘constant vigilance’ had been drilled into him from such a young age that despite the subtleties in her movements, Eli had noticed her glancing in his direction. He couldn’t read her body language as to whether she was intrigued or frightened by the shack however. “Top left window” he spoke, not bothering with any pleasantries such as hello. He meant that there was movement up there and if she wanted to see anything that was where she likely could.

See? No one could accuse him of not being generous. Giving out important information was about as generous as he could get.

Etta wasn’t one to hold grudges often, sure she was upset and a bit frightened at the time of the false accusation. She also took time to consider that perhaps Elias was looking after Ezra, they were brothers after all and she respected that. Etta would do the same if someone stole her sister’s favorite items too, she figured.

To Etta’s surprise, Elias was less intimidating this time. Or at least that’s how she feels currently. Or it could be her curiosity for the haunted house that added a thrilling and distracting element to the company. Which by what she's observed so far, she would make sure not to make too much of a fuss and annoy the Slytherin boy. Respecting boundaries.

At the mention of the top left window, the youngling pointed as she followed the direction to said window. It was certainly not polite to point but her poor astigmatism posed a challenge. Alas finding the movement in the window Etta beamed! ”Wahhhh!" She quietly mused, tilting her head enthusiastically. Moving closer to the fence. ”Dang, I wish I could go inside.” Etta said as she nonchalantly pointed to what seemed like a figure or shadow, but it could just be a smudge on the window.
