Being a father was a wild experience. Darius did not believe he would have been able to handle it without the help of his friends and family. Living with Caes and Aria was one of his best decisions. The thought of him chasing after a toddler while looking over an infant was tiring enough while juggling his Quidditch career. Everyone seemed happy right? Darius looked at the coral and was quite impressed. Whatever they did to deserve seeing this, was a treat of its own. "Soo.." Darius looked over to see Aria turned away from him observing a coral, "it's nice not hearing any screaming for once, isn't it?" He was used to the crowd's screaming at his games but at home.. Eloy sure was competing against little Ted. Perhaps his Slytherin pseudo-sister was able to agree on that.
Nope. Everyone was not happy.
Maybe Dar and Caes had been too busy to notice, and while Aria could have told them how she felt, she had resorted to that typical female habit of being silently mad about the situation and thus, leaving the guys to figure it out. Sadly to say they had not which resulted in her being at her huffiest. She was so close to packing her things to return to her fathers’ place without telling her brothers a thing. SO DARN CLOSE!!! Her absence would probably do them good. In her mind, them not paying much attention to her anymore meant that they were starting to take her for granted. Oh, Aria did not blame the nephews. She already loved them dearly. One day soon, they were going to make excellent models for her clothing.
“I suppose,’’ Aria replied, still looking everywhere but Darius. The nephews were loud but the screams, the cries and the wails never bothered her. Even at nights when they woke her from her beauty sleep, she thought they were the most adorable kids on the planet. As for Darius, Aria decided to say no more at the moment; she’d just continue to pretend to be extra interested in the coral. |
