Aria was still very much in a salty mood.
When Darius had asked her for this little excursion, it had been on the tip of her tongue to ask, “What? Now you’ve got the time for me?” Instead, she had bit back the remark and replaced it with a short “yes”. She was hopeful that her mood would improve but if anything, it seemed to have gotten worse. The only thing that seemed to help soften it was the captivating life in the Coral Garden. Such a pity that she could not take a sample back to the world above but she could definitely feel inspired by the beauty.
Aria purposely kept her attention on the coral, ignoring Darius to the best of her abilities. Let him get a taste of what she had been feeling since those darling boys came along. |
