Still in hugging position with arms clasped around his middle, she leaned back and put on as serious a face as she could muster. "BUT...you have to close your eyes first. That's like...the code of surprises, you know." Solomon did prepare his hands to catch her as it appeared she was about to stumble, but instead caught her in a tight hug. He sniffed loudly while they were close, “Yep, the scent is definitely in the air.” The more he thought about the strong smell, the more he felt like he could smell it.
He didn’t realise she meant an actual surprise. Now he felt bad that he didn’t have anything to return for her. He sure hoped Anna had Goliath in a small box ready to present to him. That would be awesome right now. “Awh. Of course, wouldn’t be a proper surprise otherwise, would it?” Solly closed his eyes tightly shut, still holding Anna’s weight as she leaned back.
