My father told me all about it. And they're notorious for recking basically anything with green." Was this girl a muggleborn or something? Probably. "Well except maybe slytherin robes. But like I mean anything outside. Gardens, quidditch pitches ... that's why de-gnoming is such an important skill." And horribly irritating punishment for basically any kid. "I'm not sure protocol of picnics on the pitch, but I suppose if you share half your sandwich, I won't tell." Unless it accidentally slipped out and for that, she was truly sorry if it happened. Having never seen a game of Quidditch, her only experience with the sport coming from what other people had said in passing, Sloane really didn’t have much to offer on this so she simply shrugged before taking a bite of her sandwich. “Huh. There’s a lot of green here. You’d think that the little crumbs that I’m dropping wouldn’t make a bit of difference because the green grass would be enough of a draw but…what do I know?” Chew Chew

De-gnoming…was…a…skill? What even was de-gnoming? She was about to ask for further information when the first year Hufflepuff tried to blackmail her. “Y’know, I don’t know the rules on picnicking here but I feel fairly certain that trying to blackmail someone isn’t like, something that’s accepted here.” Did she not know that there’s always a load of food in the Great Hall? Like, for free? Why did she want one of her sandwiches? “Why don’t you try asking nicely, hopefully with a please attached to it, and I’ll see if I can spare half of my sandwich? Sound good hun?” Her head, tilted to one side now, her innocent, try me smile there for all the gnomes to see. |
