MWAHA. It was always good when the victim didn't get upset over spilled milk. Solly laughed at the way she handled it, also not minding the buttered forehead. Not minding it MUCH. BUutter was sticky and horrible, though. "Ewwwww," He used his sleeve to wipe his forehead, now a butter smear all down him that looked absolutely dreadful. Great start to the day. Solly must get revenge, maybe mot today, even though he started it...
"I suppose I deserved that." Solly sighed, defeated. He wasn't childish enough to start cracking eggs over her head.
Aurora was often found skipping breakfast too although it wasn’t altogether intentional. Sometimes the effort to leave the Ravenclaw tower and trudge her way down all of those steps was just too much. Or sometimes she just liked to go speak to the Elves in the kitchen and grab a bite to eat there (even if Algamus often grumbled at her for getting in their way), or finally she just got distracted by something along the way and forgot where she was supposed to be.
“Breakfast is supposed to be the most important meal of the day. But I definitely prefer dinner, especially if there’s pudding.” Of course she had a sweet tooth.
“Okay! Where do you want to go? Maaaaybe we could go find Bartholomew in the lake? Or we could go see the Winged Horses in the pastures? Orrrr.. the tree! I haven’t been up the climbing tree since June.” Which for a thirteen year old was a lifetime ago. The grounds were undoubtedly her favourite place in the entire school.
Aurora wasn’t easily upset especially when it came to getting mucky. In fact, anything that resulted in a mess was often the most fun activity and getting into a mini food fight in the middle of the Great Hall sounded like the best way to start a day. Although Solomon seemed to give up after she smeared butter on his forehead and did not retaliate.
“And that is why you aren’t a Gryffindor!” she giggled. You wouldn’t see a Lion admitting defeat.
