That indeed would have been strange but you know what? Adi would not have given a second thought to it had Minjae had actually gone through with his thoughts. People being weird was something he loved! “Isn’t that the truth? Buuut I’m going to be biased and say because you’re a Hufflepuff as well, I can trust your recommendation fully! I promise that the next time I’m here, I’ll try it. I’m already thinking of bringing my family along.”
Ooh, excellent! His idea had been a good one! Adi couldn’t help but laugh heartily at Minjae’s brother’s words. “He’s hoping to be a famous author someday then? He’s going to remember these struggles when he’s rich and famous. Anyway, I would say a couple sessions of writing lessons per week and he can see how it goes from there. He can take more lessons or he’ll be hit hard by the creative bug that gets him a bestseller.”
Adi shook his head in amusement. “'Sir' makes me sound so old,’’ he remarked with a chuckle. “Call me Adi or I’m going to start calling you Mr. Yoon.” He meant that! “Yes, not to brag or anything but I was able to perfect it during my time at Hogwarts. It’s a coyote.” Adi took another swig of his drink. “Are you able to cast one?”
Minjae's smile faded when Adi mentioned that Hogwarts could be dangerous at times and his hand was shaking slightly as he reached for his mug when he realized he had already drunk everything. Instead, he placed his shaking hand on his lap.
"Yes, I did" He said it with a bright smile, though his eyes were a little sad at the moment.
"Though, if I have to be honest, I spend more time playing games in the technology room than actually studying", the room he had been forced to destroy... Minjae shook his head and sat up straighter. He wasn't going to let these negative emotions ruin his good mood today.
"If you do bring your family, I recommend going on a Thursday because it is less crowded on that day" he stated. He was a little envious. He hoped to visit a cafe with his own family one day. And he wasn't talking about his parents or brother but about his own girlfriend and hopefully future children. Perhaps he should talk to her about the future one day because he could see himself spending the rest of his life with her. He could only hope she felt the same way.
Minjae let out a snort. He hadn't intended to laugh, but the idea of his brother becoming a famous author made him do so.
"Oh no, I doubt he wants to be a writer," he said with another chuckle.
"I believe he would simply enjoy the experience."
Although they were not celebrity famous, they were well-known in upper-class society. But the older he got, the less he wanted to show off his family's wealth. The nickname 'Rich Boy' that Claudine had called him at school still annoyed him when he remembered it.
"Speaking of jobs, can I ask what you do?" he questioned, hoping to steer the conversation in a different direction before saying something obnoxious.
He was actually used to be called Mr.Yoon. He'd been called that his whole life. At home, school, and now the workplace.
"I actually think it makes you sound dignified" he said, shrugging his shoulders.
"But if you prefer, I can call you Adi" he said before shifting his gaze to the wall of patronuses.
"That's an amazing achievement" he said earnestly.
"I was only able to do it once, but it was difficult to see what shape it took. It looked like something small though so my guess is that it was either a hedgehog or a bunny."
