With words unspoken about what had to have been noticeable, slowly but surely she could feel the warmth in her cheeks return to normal. Or, at least, she hoped that was happening. While she was one who could easily experience strong reactions, Julia was set on not being a puddle of emotions the first time she met someone. Especially if that someone happened to be rather pretty.
A light laugh sounded at the words that easily could be taken as an insult. However, the two were very much on the same page when it came to Avery and her typical impulsive actions. To be honest, that is what she personally liked about their common acquaintance. The girl certainly knew how to shake things up and get people out of their box. "Have to appreciate her spontaneity though. Keeps you on your toes."
Right now she did not feel as alert or ready for anything that might happen. The brunette was trying to push down that mention of the café (which hadn't been intended as an open flirt, though could easily be taken as such) and the nugget of information about Siofra's flirting. That would have been easy to do had the woman before her not followed up that that statement and winked at her. The warmth in her cheeks was slowly returning as she listened to the words the silver hummingbird was relaying to them.
Was she upset by the bird's message? No, she wasn't bothered by that at all. This was a very Avery thing of her to do. That free spirit went wherever the wind took her, even if prior engagements had been made. "Can't say I'm surprised," she replied lightly. "So it's just the two of us then."
