~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. “Atreyu-Rehman, Aryan!”
Despite being prepared to hear his name ringing across the Great Hall shortly after the Sorting began, he still started slightly. He looked quickly at Bry and Drake then hurriedly made his way to the stool and Hat. But not before giving Bry a quick, small smile and Drake a discreet pat on his hand; it was a touch of reassurance because Ary knew all too well that Drake was feeling anxious.
The eleven year old kept his eyes lowered at all times, knowing that the entire Hall was watching him. When he sat and pulled the Hat over his head, it mercifully fell over his eyes so that he was forced to stare at the inside rather than out at the Hall. “Another Atreyu-Rehman. Hmmm. It seemed like yesterday I was Sorting your fathers and siblings.” Ary said nothing because what was there to say? He just sat there calmly, tapping his fingers on his legs while the Hat continued to chatter away. “There’s great ambition, I see. Determination, resourcefulness. My, my. You can tell where this is heading already, can’t you? There is a huge mass of patience and loyalty. So much loyalty to your family and friends. Where to place you, I wonder?” Still Ary said nothing, not at all having a preference about what House he got into. “Well, it better be… SLYTHERIN!” With a decision made, Ary removed the hat to head off towards the Table cheering the loudest for him. Already his fingers were crossed; he was hoping with all his heart that Bry, Drake and Gilly were Sorted into Slytherin too. It was a lot to hope for, the realist in him knew that much.
Also, how cool was it that Dad Adi and Papa Benny had four children and each were Sorted into a different Hogwarts House?
