Alyx Stone walked into the back of the train and she recognized a few people she hadn't properly met in Diagon Alley. She found an empty car with a room with sliding doors and no one was inside so she went in and put her luggage in the storage area, ready for the train to leave the station. Looking forward to Hogwarts, she was excited for new times in her life and was a bit stressed from all the major changes that were taking place. But, she knew she would be fine. Growing up a muggle, she only had had a few priorities, now Alyx was going to a boarding school halfway across the country where her parents couldn't reach her and knew nothing about what she would be doing.
For the first time in her life, she would be on her own. Her future friends would be hers to make and she would be responsible for growing the friendships, her parents couldn't get her out of mistakes she made, but along with the challenges, the possibilities were even greater. She was preparing herself to take an unknown magical adventure and learn many things that she couldn't possibly know what they were yet and she realized that the questions outweighed the answers. She wanted to make a friend, but she had no idea who to ask. She still wasn't even sure how to make friends, and she wanted to get close to a professor. She wasn't sure right now if she should start getting ahead on her schoolwork by reading, or if she should take in the whole experience. She decided to visit the food trolly. Maybe a group of students would be there and she could make a friend with one.
