After all, they were always bantering good naturedly {which in Rafa’s opinion was part of which kept their relationship so lively}. However, he was very much content in admiring Dash being so child-like. It was cute, it was endearing and Rafael Melo was quite turning into a humongous pile of goo.

A smirk played his lips as his eyes followed Dash’s bouncing. “Only because I let you.” No need to get tooooo cocky, lover boy. Puh-lease. As if Dash would ever hex him; Dash was too much in love. That and the curly haired man was always able to deal with teasing. “Hmmm, what to do, what to do…” Still smirking, he pushed himself off of the door’s frame. “What main course? I’m too lazy to cook right now.’’ Rafa made his way over to their bed and easily sprang onto it, reaching for Dash’s hands. “I can think of something else,” the owlkeeper began, smiling impishly and matching pace with the jumps. “You can help me prepare that meal you seem to want so badly.”

There was a proverbial halo over Rafael’s head, because yes. He understood all the underlying meanings to the words but chose to play an angel.
