He glanced at the display he'd nearly knocked over and tentatively put out a hand, pretending he was going to push it. "I'm all for doing some favours... For the right price." Wiggly fingers. So close to the shelves.
Discounts? Huh? Reuben frowned for a moment and then shook his head. "Nah, I don't need anything anyway, don't you worry," he said, his smile bright once again. "Do people actually polish their wands?" He didn't even have his on him to check the shininess level. What was the point when he wasn't allowed to use it? It was hard not to laugh when he made that face with that tone, you know. "This happens to also be my home," she replied casually and sloooooowly lifted just one brow to flex the control she had over her facial features. "No different from someone spending all day in their living room or front yard, really." Just a matter of perspective. Their flat was upstairs and and the shop itself her intellectual playground. Sage folded her arms across her chest and lowered that brow in favor of furrowing her brow in speculation. "And what price is that?"
Dad kept a tight inventory list so...Reuben was going to be out of luck if he thought he might get some freebies.
Holding her hand up, palm so close to his face it brushed against the tip of his nose, she gave him a very serious look. Wand care was serious business. "Before I offer commentary on the importance of wand care and specifically polishing...one a scale of 1 to 10 how much do you actually care?"
