The sunnies were meant to be part of a disguise, but Bronwen didn't really understand the point. It was fun when everyone else was involved, but on her own, she felt stupid wearing them indoors. Her scarf could stay though, she liked that it added to her look.
Alissa hadn't even realized she was supposed to be in disguise, she just thought she was wearing a cool scarf. It wasn't super effective as a disguise (sorry!). She'd still been able to recognize her. Alissa had been a fan of Grimoire for a while, and thought the kids were fascinating. They were around her age, and their lives seemed super cool. Famous moms in a famous band, living on the road and going to cool places and going to shows. It seemed like such a cool life. Alissa had been interested in learning as much as she could about them, wondering what it would be like to be their friends but never dreaming she would soon to be going to the same school as them.
So yeah, hi Brownwen nice scarf but she definitely knows who you are. But she's being super cool about it. Like super chill. Definitely not internally freaking out. "Oh, um, I don't know exactly. I've never been here before." Her accent was very American, making her stick out like a sore thumb around here whenever she opened her mouth. And making it clear that she hadn't been here before because she wasn't from here. "I was just kind of exploring and thought I'd look around. I think it's kind of a beauty shop." |
