~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. Suresh had expected Advika to pass him on her way out of the bathroom, even if she was feeling more than grumpy at him. Then again, he supposed that he shouldn’t have been surprised to see her sitting on the edge of the tub and giving him what seemed {in his view} to be a dismissive shrug. Sur could not see her face clearly from this angle so he moved into the bathroom, still clutching his wand.
Rather than asking Advika to grace him with one of her mesmerising looks, he got down on one knee before her. That’s when he saw all the tears coursing down her perfect cheeks. “I’m sorry about the door,’’ Suresh said again, putting his wand on the floor and reaching for Advika’s hand. He didn’t tell her to stop crying; she needed to get all the emotions out and he was here, ready to be her punching bag or the shoulder she needed to cry in. Suresh didn’t like to see her crying so much but knew it could not be helped. He also felt guilty because he had said was ready for children even if he wasn’t the one who had to go through all the hormonal, physical, mental and all the other struggles that came with pregnancy.
