~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. Connor had to hand it to Christopher: the younger man certainly had an answer for everything. Con didn’t mean this in a bad way. In fact, it was impressive that Chris had a right head on his shoulders. This was a good thing because since he wanted to continue being with Reagan, he’d need all the level headedness to keep up with that energetic eldest Anders’ girl.
The older man nodded then drained the last of his coffee. Nothing was said for a while on his part because reassessing his thoughts and feelings about Chris and Reagan’s relationship was happening mentally. It certainly had been a ghost of a smile that Chris had seen; perhaps it was a good sign? What Connor knew was that the other fellow was certainly signing himself up for literally being by Rea’s side all his life; meaning, he'd have to juggle her, his own family and his job. Yet, something told Con Chris would do this without any issues. “Perhaps. I would like to think it’s a combination of both, however. She’s very determined to be a successful actress, as you know. Should this relationship last, you’ll be prepared for all the attention that comes with that? Your lives would hardly be private.” As for that promise, Connor held Chris’ gaze for some seconds before nodding. “I know I do.”
So yes. This was Connor giving his blessing for the relationship. |
