Bathes in Maple Syrup | Dancing Lobster | Mrs. Charlie Weasley | Seneca's Beard | That's So Fetch Noltie's, she had to admit, was not the first place that came to mind for two friends (it had been long enough for them to be considered as such, yes?) to meet up. The Leaky Cauldron or the bowling alley instantly came to mind, whereas the plant shop was one of the last places she'd consider. Nevertheless, the dancer and part-time barista didn't mind the location that had been picked. All she needed to do once her shift at the café was over was cross the alley, pass by a few shop windows, and make her way inside.
Despite working at Espresso Patronum for the past two years and having walked by the plant shop countless times, this was the first time that Julia had ever stepped into it. Immediately the humidity and the variety of scents hit her, and she couldn't help but take in all of the greenery before her. It certainly was different from what she was used to at the café and the dance halls she frequented.
Slowly but surely, she weaved her way past numerous flora, keeping an eye out for the person who said to meet her there and someone potentially tagging along with her. Eventually she found herself at the trilling tulips, which she had been told was the meeting spot. Already there was someone there, though her friend and her assumed companion were nowhere to be seen.
"Excuse me," she said to the redhead. "You haven't happened to see someone with curly blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and a bubbly personality who goes by Avery around, have you? I'm supposed to be meeting her and possibly one of her friends here."
