Penelope Bolt finished her investigations. She'd discovered some definite signs of magic in the area, but nothing difinitive--no way to tell what it was, and of course, in a school for witchcraft and wizardry, there was magic floating around all over the place. No footprints or scraps of clothing or fingerprints of any kind. She really hadn't expected to come up with an answer, but she needed to prove that she'd made the effort when it came time to fill out her expense report for the damaged items--Gringotts goblins were very particular about things like that.
Finally she made a few notes in a small notebook she carried with her, put her display back together with a few well placed Reparos, and put her wand away. She then pulled out some more of the brochures she'd brought with her (for of course she'd brought extras). Hearing a young man (Isak) asking about them, she held one out to him. "Here's one on careers in Cursebreaking, and another one on job opportunities at Gringotts Bank, if you're interested." |
