If she wanted to call it growth, he would let her but they still had an entire day ahead of them for her to annoy him. "Umm, I don't think so? It's either we cook ourselves or we ask them to cook for us so either way the stuff is getting used?" It made sense to him. And as long as they cleaned up after themselves and didn't get in the house elves way, he didn't see any issues with using the kitchen whenever they wanted.
