There was a few things in life that Christopher had expected and a few he hadn't. Working hard to make something of himself in his chosen career once he had figured out what that was had been very high up on his list. Remaining close to his family so that he could help them out, namely Cassie, whenever she needed it. It was no secret how much he adored his nieces and nephews. Something he hadn't expected, developing feelings for one Reagan Aurora Anders. One of his closest friends younger sisters. Not that age mattered at all to him, it didn't. But he knew it did to some. This was why they were taking their time in telling certain people about their relationship.
It was also why he was sure he was asked to meet her father at this coffee shop today. The invitation was accepted without question and his arrival was several minutes early (nearly ten minutes) because that's just how he was. Entering the shop, he spotted Connor fairly quickly making his way over to the table. "Good morning, Mister Anders." Yes, even now he still had his manners and knew what respecting his elders meant. Ah, he wasn't entirely worried about coffee, if a waitress came over he might order a cup then. Until then he needed to remain levelheaded and calm.
