Mr. Cambridge seemed to be following her instructions and relaxing. Or at least actively trying to be which Celeste would settle for. They would see if their chatting helped the boy…young man…calm down further about the topic of his future plans. The astronomy professor paused as he caught up, listening intently as the Slytherin answered her question and nodding occasionally to show she was paying attention. “An eclectic array of interests…” she remarked finally, “and each could provide an avenue fur a future if you chose. And not necessarily a magical one.”
Which coincided with his question.
“I wuid say a fair few do, aye.” There was no saying just because you had magic you had to continue to use magic in everything you did. “And nah necessarily just the muggleborns, though they do tend to be the more inclined.” The ones who might have had an inkling about what they might want to be when they grew up even BEFORE they found out they had magic to open a much bigger world of opportunities to them. “Ma own profession could switch between magical and muggle of course…though just require me to be a bit…restrained in the mundane world.”
