There were a few things Jade loathed. One was being unnecessarily doted on - she was perfectly capable of opening her own doors and pulling out her own chair, thank you. Another was surprises. How utterly ironic it was that this was beginning with both...and her not minding. Well, not minding all that much she would qualify. She minded a little and found him utterly ridiculous with the insisting that he carry her, again. However, he had been nothing less than an exuberant golden retriever about this trip and with this was her second chance at marriage ... she would be a good sport about it.
Also, William. Portkey travel with a blindfold on during certain legs was something she would highly recommend they never do again.
"At last," she breathed out, relief washing over her as her stomach settled a bit more. Enough so that she would not be too wobbly on her feet at least. Whether it be portkey, floo, or apparition...Jade did not have the strongest of stomachs for all the magical lurching but enough grace to not compromise her calm exterior. Smoothing down her dress and pulling the pin out of her hair to allow the loose bun to fall free with black silky locks cascading over her shoulders, Jade took her first look at their accommodations and the view. "Oh, William," she murmured while taking a step forward to set her bag down on a windowsill. "...it's absolutely breathtaking..." She turned to face him and smiled before laughing at his boyish posture and swiftly moved to him. "You can relax, William" she laughed softly while draping her arms loosely over his shoulders. "This is wonderful. Truly."
