It certainly did seem nice having a childhood enjoyment that led to an adult career. For Gabe, though, that was something he couldn't relate to. Sure, he had a number of interests, but he wasn't entirely confident if making a career out of them was something that could be done. He supposed that was the point of university: to figure all of that out. "Career-wise, not entirely sure what direction to go. But I am into mythology and comics and photography -- stuff like that."
The details about Evan's gap year sounded like a wonderful time. It made him wonder what he would have done had he taken a year from school to just ... live life a little. "Certainly sounds relaxing and peaceful. Where did you end up going during your trip?"
A smile appeared on Gabriel's face at the idea of potentially ending up in the same class as Evan. "Yeah, that'd be cool. Could start a study group." When asked about seeing other people around from Hogwarts, he said, "I've seen a few familiar-looking faces, though can't say I know them by name. A lot of my friends from Hogwarts are going to uni in London, went out of the country for school, or jumped straight into the workforce."
