Jonah wasn't offended that the woman was impatient. He had no idea what she was looking for (despite standing right next to it), and for all he knew it was very time sensitive. He certainly didn't want to get in her way if it was an emergency. Plus, he had business to get on with, because he really needed the scar cream.
Surprised to hear her voice again, he stopped, half-turning his head. "Yes, scar cream... and yes, I very much need help finding it." It was for a friend, you see, and he promised. And his promises always delivered, and that was why his friends trusted him, and he was anxious to keep things that way. Also it was urgent and he didn't feel entirely well... he'd like to be done with his shopping. |
