| Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict It hadn’t been entirely just good dueling etiquette on Sable Ileana’s end that had led to her allowing Anna to officially start off the duel. It hadn’t been entirely strategy, either. Finding out the opponent’s weaknesses and such. Enzo would probably be disappointed with that, but mostly the wait had just been the blonde distracting herself with ideas of how she’d like the duel to go. She didn’t want to lose, after all. Even if captains did occasionally ger defeated. They’d just come back stronger. She’d just come back stronger. In a Gryffindor way, of course.
Plus, she didn’t think preparatory spells did count as part of the duel. Nor did she think too much silence was usual, aside from the possibility of nonverbal casting. Something made her suspect that wasn’t what was going on here though, but she had stayed vigilant just in case. Maybe Anna’s accident-proneness was a front. But she doubted that too.
The unspoken question behind the spell once it had broken the silence seemed to reveal that, too. It wasn’t hard to block the blindfold spell with a simple “Protego”.
But it also led to a bit of a dilemma when it came to a response. She didn’t want to hurt the little Hufflepuff after all, and therefore it meant she had to scour her memory for a good spell. Not the best when her mind was mostly on other topics, but finally she flourished her wand again, following her shield charm. “Glacius Duo!” Mostly she aimed at the ground below Anna, rather than risking freezing the girl herself. Etiquette.
