~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. With five models down, there were obviously three left to complete. Char moved onto another one and immediately felt his head increase a smidge as he pondered on what this one might represent. To stall for a moment, he drew an okay-ish, round-ish thing. Clearly he was improving on his freehand circles. It was filled three quarters of the way with shading on the left side. “Uh…I think you’re the Waning Gibbous.” {It was really the Waxing Crescent.}
Must he be so bad at Astronomy? Was it too late to stop pursuing this at a NEWT level? Could he get Jude and his big brain to coach him on the subject before exams? So many questions, so little answers at present. The next model was easy: the New Moon. And by way of elimination, the last model where three quarters of it was shadowed to the right meant that the model represented the Waxing Gibbous {in reality, it was the Waning Crescent}.
But hey, no matter how much he got wrong, Char had given the activity his best shot. |
